covid/pneumonia

hi there. have just been in hospital with the above. I’ve never felt so helpless in my life. having to ask people for help is not my forte. I really missed Andy as he would have been there to give me a cuddle when I needed it. also his words of wisdom and encouragement. I was in isolation due to covid. I’ve never felt so alone. now I’m home I have no energy to do anything. people have visited and I’ve been out fora meal with my friend which we both needed.
am going to the Keyes family forum in Exeter for the weekend. am so looking forward to it.

So sorry you’ve been so poorly, @Camille58. It sounds like such a hard thing to go through without Andy. I’m really glad to hear people have visited you - I hope you have a nice time in Exeter. Be gentle with yourself :blue_heart:

So sorry to hear that and pleased you are in the mend. I had Covid a month ago not as bad as you as at home. I felt very alone. Everyone stayed away . I got off text or phone call from family but like you had no energy so had to force myself to make food and drinks let dog out. That’s when you miss them the most and appreciate what they did. Hope you are soon A1 again.
