Hi Suzanne,

Thank you for the welcome, it’s nice to be with you all, even though the circumstances for us all are the worst. I’m glad to hear everyone has stuck around.

It’s actually only been 11 days so it’s incredibly fresh. That is some great advice and I thank you dearly for it.

It’s good to know I’ve got somewhere I can speak to people in the same situation and without any judgement. I worry that people will get sick of me having bad days so it’s reassuring to know you are all here, even though none of us want to be.

I actually decided to spend the evening staying with a friend so I agree with what you said about coincidence and this was obviously what was best for me instead.

Beki, the little Beatrix Potter book set looks lovely! You’ve done an amazing job. The chair looks lovely too. It’s nice to think that something you got joy out of as a kid is now going to bring another child joy.

Your mum must of left that tenner for a reason and that is a perfect use for it!

Ooooh that is a good line up. Only met Ogg out of those.

Hope I get to a comic con again in the future.

Hi Nic.

Thats really nice Nic. Poppies are one of those plants I cant do anything with.

Currently sat here catching up on the mobile phone but the tablets going in the background with some keep fit videos on YouTube. Does it mean Ive done the workouts by proxy, I think not. I did 20 mins and must have left it running.

Keep going. xx

Hi to everyone.

Was just saying to Nic I think, that I’d left the keep fit video’s on YouTube running on the tablet whilst I catch up with you all and wonder if it counts as exercise but sadly I dont think so. Its a rare day when I manage to get the 10,000 steps.

Didnt get any thunder in Lancashire today Suzanne. Was expecting all kinds considering how dark it went.

Like the profile photo Neil. When I first saw it I thought who is that couple, must be new member’s, then I looked closer (old ladies eyes I think!) and saw it was yourself. There is a distinct change in your outward personality and you sound so much stronger recently. Good on you.

Hope you are doing ok Debbie, and hi again to Lucy.

Christine, just wishing huge kind wishes

xx

Beki you are very talented, I love the Beatrice Potter bookcase, your friend will love in and it’s in memory of your mum too. Can’t wait to see the finished result of the chair too . Debbie X X

Tina, that’s my idea of exercise just keep the video running. I’m supposed to do excercises every day for my arthritic knees, some days I’m better at it than others.
Did your brother melt away in his leathers, I suspect he back home being grumpy as usual.

Fabulous pics Beki. That tenner was definitely left for a reason . These things seem small to others who dont understand but we know it’s a sign from our dear Mum’s that they are here with us. Peter Rabbit is so cute :heart:x

Hi Suzanne
Just your luck that the train strikes are this week. Thankfully the tube is running OK which does help. As I said I would have been in London this week but brought it forward as I would have missed my art exhibition otherwise.
Looking forward to seeing your pics.
To be honest I had a struggle uploading my profile pic. I think I clicked on at the top of my profile and it gives you options to upload from your camera . First one didnt work and second time lucky. I was actually speaking to Ash last night on Instagram . She’s having a rest this week and her legs are all bruised. Dancers go through so much punishment .
Have a great time in London and will speak again soon .
Sending love and best wishes

Hi Debbie.

Just before I lost Mum I’d lost 3 stone. Id been using the Walk with Leslie Sansone on YouTube. She is very good. I have put a stone on again and that one stone actually looks and feels like the full three. I was once told I was pre-diabetic and managed to escape full diabetes.
I can imagine how painful the knees are.
It’s awful isn’t it. As Mum would say, there’s only wine that gets better with age. xx

HaHaHa Neil. That comment you made about being “snobby” about your home town made me laugh a bit. It must be all these cultured circles you are moving in now! Have a good day xx

Hello Christine
Just wanted to say I hope you are managing.
Hope you’ve managed the gardening and everything is finished and you have a great space to relax in with kitty.
Been trying to make the garden look nice myself still but don’t seem to be getting much further. One of the roses I bought from B and Q is going to die off I think but it’s the chance you take with clearance items so I’m not too annoyed, more disappointed. I’ve got a load of strawberry plants with lovely flowers on but no strawberries!
I hope Creep has gone on holiday. I bet you are half tempted to pay for him to have a six month cruise! My neighbour has just bought himself another greenhouse so that will keep him busy for a while.
Hope family relations have eased a bit with your Dad and you are getting out with your Niece and having the Barbie’s you talked about

You needn’t reply, i just thought I’d say Hi till you are visiting us all again.

All the best and much love xx

Hi Tina
I think going back to my home town made me realise why we left it in the first place, even though it does look quite different now x

Morning all,

Sounds like you all have some lovely things lined up over the next few days!

It’s keeping me optimistic that it will start to get easier to carry on with normal life. Trying to keep myself busy but it’s hard at the moment.
