Hi in new here, in the last 18 months, i have lost 6 close family members, including my mother and both my brothers, i also lost a dear friend 10 days ago., who was like a mother to me. We’d known each other for 25 years and i moved next door to her 4 years ago to care for her as she had no family. I feel so lost and alone with this amount of death. Like no one around me understands where im at. I feel like im still grieving for the 1st loss of my hero older brother and dread the thought of how long my grieving process will be. I already struggle with my mental health and im finding it difficult to do daily tasks even with my priscibed meds. I feel i want to retreat, sleep and be left alone for as long as it takes to feel better but with autistic daughter16 its difficult to get anytime at all.
Has anyone else here experienced similar? Do you know of tools that can help help?
Hello @Kiki3,
I’m part of the Online Community team, and I’d like to thank you for sharing such a deeply personal and heartfelt message. I’m so sorry to hear about the immense loss you’ve faced over the last 18 months, including the loss of your mother, brothers, and a dear friend who was like a mother to you. It must be incredibly overwhelming to cope with so much grief, especially when it feels like no one around you truly understands what you’re going through.
Many of our community members have sadly experienced multiple losses, and while everyone’s grief journey is different, you’re not alone in feeling lost or struggling with the weight of it all. I’m sure someone will be along to offer their support, and I hope you find comfort in connecting with others who understand.
