Death of husband

I am 77 and have looked after my husband for years. He passed away on the 29th June after 57 years of marriage and 2 years courting. I do not want to be here anymore

I’m so sorry for your loss Marshmallow. I lost my husband 10 months agafter 50 years together. I felt exactly as you do now, but I have had terrific support from family and friends who supported me every step. Our dog has been a lifesaver too, forcing me to get out of the house.
I had the weirdest dream last night that my husband walked back in the kitchen door! It was so vivid, but obviously not possible. Yet for that moment, in my dream, I was hugging him again.
You will go through many emotions in the coming months but lean on your true friends and family who can help make it all bearable.
