Have you lost a partner and claimed bereavement support? I have and just wanted to raise awareness of it as no one seems to tell you about it, I only knew because my son searched it up. Here’s the link

I only found out through the funeral home that organised my husbands funeral, and made a claim in January.

When I phoned DWP to advise them of my wife’s passing, so they could stop her PIP, they immediately took my details for the Bereavement Support payment. I just had to drop into the nearest jobcentre with a death cert and it was all sorted very quickly and efficiently.
