Duel bereavement

i recently lost my partner of 27 years. it started with Major heart surgery, then a year later lung cancer. the above were operated on successfully. all was going well. at least we thought. the person in question was then taken ill after travelling to see family for xmas last year 2023, they were taken ill on arrival admitted to hospital in Birmingham. it was then discovered after tests they had an undiscovered brain tumor so advanced within 2 months they were gone. I have been left with so many unanswered questions. For example i have a hospital letter saying they had a full scan and that they were clear of cancer. how was it missed maybe i will never know. i get back from the cremation to be told my mums brother has passed of cancer. im trying to deal with all of this. a so called friend came round soon after . asked how i was. i replied im not having a good day to be honest. they then said to me stop making yourself a victim. i was so stunned by that comment. it so thoughtless and uncaring i have since distanced myself from this person… i agree with so many comments regarding this topic people can be so cruel and have no idea what people in this situation have to go through…i do wish you all that you find some peace. grief like our lifestories is unique to ourselves. love and peace to you all…
