eating a chore

Someone put on here they were struggling to eat or sleep with their loss. I might be able to do a muffin but I just don’t feel like cooking at all. So don’t feel like eating! been up since 6.30 this morning and just don’t feel like putting in any effort to eat.

I know that feeling. Meal times are usually a social thing. We would chose what to eat together and then I’d cook it, I relished cooking his favourite meals and have always found pleasure in cooking for others, especially hubby. Now he’s no longer here I have no appetite, don’t see the point in cooking or eating. It’s purely functional and I just tend to drink coffee, probably too much if I’m honest.
Take care of yourself, even if it’s just a bowl of cereal, you need to stay strong physically as well as mentally.

I think for me it’s more about the stress I’m being put under by the council to scare me into paying money. Councils are increasingly becoming bullys now and they seem to think it’s more then exceptable.
