A little Poem
Every day I shed a tear,
As days roll by and years disappear.
I see the timeless look upon your face,
As you slipped away to God’s embrace.
The years move on, but still I grieve,
For a love so deep, I can’t believe
That I must face each day alone,
Without your smile, without our home.
I close my eyes and you are there,
Your gentle smile, your loving care.
I hear your voice, I feel you near,
And wish that you were still right here.
For a love like ours will never die,
Though I search for you in the sky.
And when my time here is through,
I pray that Heaven leads me back to you.
Until that day, I’ll hold you dear,
In every memory, every tear.
For though you’ve gone beyond my sight,
My love for you burns on, a guiding light
My tears are not the flood they were, however..

This is a poem/tribute I wrote for my partner Theresa after she passed in March, it has now been turned into a song
I cried so many tears
The day you passed away
You are always in my heart
And that’s where you will stay
Those first few days you left me
Just felt so unreal
Wishing you were still with me
To tell you how I feel
I can’t stop crying
When I think of you
I can’t stop crying
Nothing I can do
In all our years together
None were really bad
Apart from family passings
Always made us sad
Half my life was spent
Together with you
I wish we could have more time
So much more to do
I cry so many tears each day
I,ll cry so many more
Knowing that I,ll never see you
Walk back through our door.
