Four days in from losing my partner and everyday is getting so much worse cant even find a reason to leave bed
Cazzab15it is the worst thing that you will ever go through but I promise you it does start to get easier as time passes by. Just go with the grief, let it out, cry, and cry, yell and scream, just accept the pain and don’t try to avoid it or distract from it as it is healing you, grieving is releasing the pain little by little. You will find everything in your life is effected by your loss the smallest things will remind you of your loss and that is normal, what is happening to you right now is normal. Grief is your love for your partner but you will learn to accept it and carry it with you but for now take it slowly minute by minute, hour by hour , day by day etc. Sending you strength and hugs.
Please don’t expect too much of yourself! Stay in bed if that helps, go for a walk if that helps etc. Go with whatever you feel at present, you have had the biggest shock to all systems you will ever have! It is all still so raw and it is the worst pain imaginable but, as said in the previous post, you just have to go with it, I’m afraid. Sending you love at this truly dreadful time xxx
