I Miss You

There’s a void inside
an emptiness that can never be filled …

At first it was filled with tears that I thought would never end
Then in time tears were replaced with happy memories instead
But as those memories get further & further away
The void has come back, bigger than before
The realisation …
I will never be whole again & it hurts every day.

What you’ve said is exactly the same for me. We just exist and there is no real joy, just pain and pretending to be ok. Sending you hugs but no advice as what can make things better?
