First Christmas without my beautiful wife,i managed to put up a few decorations between tears, It all seems pointless this year.

I feel exactly the same. I lost my husband in November he was only 41 and we have two young children. He wanted me to do Christmas but I just haven’t been able to face it. I put a small tree up and we had one bauble on it and that was a photo of him.
I already want it down as my grief is so unbarable right now.
You need to do what is right for you. I keep getting told the key is to talk but when people ask how I am they feel awkward when I’m honest!
I guess we just need to take one day at a time. Just do what’s right for you and look after yourself.
