Anyone out there dreading first Mothers Day without their child? I remember spending the day with my daughter having lunch…taking selfies last year. If Someone had said she wouldn’t be with me on Mother’s Day this year I would not of believed them. Another first ….to get over. 
Hi, I know just how horrible ‘firsts’ are but try to think of it as one day because you miss her everyday. Keep yourself busy and try looking forward, that works for me to a point and then I collapse. It’s hard missing our loved ones, some days are more of a struggle then others. Take care and buy yourself something special, spoil yourself, she would have wanted to do that for you. S xxx
My first Mother’s Day without Laura. The signals of help are coming I was beautiful poem from compassionate friends. Then I had a lovely lady from hospice ring me to say she’s planted Laura’s daisy. That’s we’re I’ll be spending Mother’s Day xx

Yes it will be a tough day…like all the others that have gone by. Thank you for replying it’s good to know others thoughts as we approach Mother’s Day. I think I shall re name it Daughters day!
