My David died on Tuesday 14th May and I still have not been able to see him, my last picture of him is when he died surrounded by all the stress of paramedics and police and doctors etc.
We have had to wait for the post-mortem which wasn’t until yesterday 8 days after him dying, now he is at the funeral home but they have not got his coffin yet. I have now got an appointment to see him next Wednesday…I will have waited 15 days.

Yes that is hard. I thought my husband was going to have a post mortem and I waited then they changed their minds. Then had to wait until it was possible to see him. I had to go on my own which I was used to as had to do it alone to see my parents. My mother had a post mortem and it was a long wait as well.

They wouldn’t let me see Steve the day he died (in the street), but I saw him the next morning. Then I had to wait 20 days until I saw him at the funeral home, becauseof the PM. I went alone, but felt much better after seeing him. It is cruel.
