Who helps Grandparents ? My grandson died in August , at 9 weeks old. My whole world as I knew it collapsed. But in the weeks and months after I had to watch my daughter , his mother, in her grief , disappear before my eyes. I couldn’t process my grief because I was keeping my daughter alive. I became invisible.
Please , if there are Grandparents out there that would like to talk , please do. I lost 2 people. My beautiful boy and my daughter. She is so brave and every single day is a journey of recovery and discovery, but she and I are not the same people. I miss her and I miss me.
