Hi I don’t even no what to write here I recently lost my partner on the 15 January buried him 11th February he was only 32 he passed 2 days before my daughters 12 birthday and a week before my sons2nd has u can imagine I am really struggling has it as so unexpected I can’t atand to be in the house anymore

Oh I’m so sorry, you’re so early in your grief you must be totally numb. I hope you have family and friends who can support you. Your youngest probably doesn’t understand much but your other child is grieving as well. Try to be kind to yourself, your emotions will be in turmoil for a long time. Grief is so horrible and destructive. Keep posting on here everyone understands.
Hi Laurenb1412 - I’m sorry for your loss. I lost my husband recently in October 2025 and that first month or two was incredibly hard. I can only imagine how tough it is to also have young children and have to help them understand what is happening. If you are struggling at the house, have you considered a short break away - perhaps an overnight stay with close family or friend? Sending love x
