Today is my darling husband’s birthday.
Ho how I think of other birthdays and how we celebrated and wish we could go back to them wonderful days. Will be taking flowers to cemetery later . Today seems so hard I miss him so much

These are the hardest days, the ones that squeeze what’s left of our hearts more than normal. I think I lost my husband the same time as you, I don’t think the anniversaries get any easier, I’m readying myself for our wedding anniversary on the 20th.
I hope you got through the day okay, I’m sure your lovely husband was watching over you xx

Feeling for you. I came on here as I have had such a difficult day too. It was also my darling husbands birthday today. My first without him.
What a lovely tribute to your husband you have made. I love the candle.
My daughters and I lit sparklers as we stood by his grave this evening.
I have spent most of the day either in tears or close to tears but - we got through it.
