I thought I would share my day of mixed blessings.
Today is 3 years to the day my beautiful husband gained his angel wings.
Started my day a blubbering mess, but then got myself ready and off to the hospital to see the latest addition to our family, out beautiful baby granddaughter, who at the tender age of three months had open heart surgery, she is recovering very well, and to my absolute delight I got to have cuddles with her.
I returned home later, again tears and sadness. He wasn’t here to share.
After a little while my 9 year old grandson video called me to make me smile, because he misses his grandpa too
So very much a day of mixed blessings x
