Good morning,
I would like to ask if anybody else has lost their appetite due to breavement?
I have no interest in food at all.
I am literally forcing myself to eat.
Kind regards,
Josie.
I must admit at first, probably for about the first month, I just ate rubbish and had no interest in food at all. After that I seem to have totally lost interest in eating and cooking, which I used to love. It’s been about 8 months now and for the majority of the time I’ve had very little interest in food, so perhaps it’s normal. Gail
The first week I did, but then my partner told me I wasn’t doing myself any favours by not eating, I then started to eat very small meals. All I wanted was coffee and tobacco which isn’t good for anyone. I’m back to eating really well like I used too. It can be done but I also understand how difficult it is x
I think I spent the first few weeks drowning in a sea of wine and bad food. I now hardly drink, at most twice a week, and have gone back to being a healthy vegetarian. It’s still hard to get motivated, but I’m gradually getting better. xx
You are doing really well. I have always eaten healthy, and exercised a lot, but I think exercise at the moment is the only thing that keeps me sane, it’s like having a full time job lol x
I think for me it’s the opposite. When feeling sad, I eat more! (of the wrong things). Bad foods make me feel happy. x
Well I still smoke and drink too much coffee but I think by eating healthy and all my exercise compensates for those two bad habits I have and they try to keep me sane. We all have different ways of coping and whatever helps us must be some benefit.
For the first week or so after losing my father I could hardly eat , then since it’s been both a mixture of healthy and less healthy foods. Snacking constantly once I got home was probably the worst , then I couldn’t eat a more healthy rounded dinner. But it has improved. Take care
@Missy8 I agree with @Guineapig65 in the early days you eat utter crap cos your digestive system is going thru a major event. Then there was the nausea that made eating more of a chore. I think it’s normal. Eat little & often if it’s really impacting your day.
