I thought you were going out with your niece on your birthday, has that changed?
I think he means first birthday on his own without Maria. I just had mine and Andys birthdays, next to each other, in April. Though I was with most of my family on those days I still felt very ‘alone’ it being our first birthdays apart in decades, since I was 19…it’s agonising xx

Goodmorning horrible start to the day.woke up face swollen on one side my sinuses playing up in a bit of pain with it xx
We’ve got all these ‘firsts’ to come.
I had my birthday just 20 days after John passed and I forced myself to go out with two friends and I can honestly say it was one of the worst nights out I’ve ever had so I will never do that again…
I will make sure I do exactly what I want to do when the next ‘first’ comes along. If I’m on my own then fine…everyone will just have to understand…
