His first birthday without him

Today would of been my husbands 60th birthday, a big one today, and I was planning on taking him skydiving, I did it for charity last year and he’s always said he’d love to give it a go, so I thought what a better present for his milestone birthday

The weather is awful today it’s been raining all night and still going, I’m keeping the children off school, our plans are to visit his grave then go for a walk where we had our last family day out with him, then visits his parents, although we are probably going to get soaking wet, I’m going to stick to the plans and make the most of it, I’ve such mixed emotions right now, I want to make the most of the day for the children but all I want to do is hide away in bed

Dear Chanti, I am so sorry to hear about your husband’s death. Do you know why? My heart goes out to you and your family, you have such lovely children. I understand your suffering and hope you get as much support as you need. You have done so well to get up and take control, I will keep you in my prayers and hope you feel supported by everyone around you. If you need to chat don’t hesitate.
Wishing you all the best for this difficult day. Sending hugs
Tom

Next week would have been my partners 70th Birthday, not looking forward to that day. She had two really close friends that celebrated each other’s Birthdays she would have went for a meal with them ,then we would have done our thing together. 4 months since Theresa has passed away miss her so much.
