How has Sue Ryder’s Online Community helped you?
Would you be willing to share your story?
Hello everyone,
Last year, we asked if any of you would be willing to share your stories about grief in lockdown - with the help of the community, we’d like to tell some more stories like these. This time, we are specifically looking for males who have lost a partner as well as under 35s dealing with a bereavement who would be willing to share their experiences to help raise awareness of the impact bereavement can have on our lives and the importance of getting support.
What has been your experience of grief and what support have you been able to access?
How has our Online Community helped you?
Personal stories and blog entries are vital in helping Sue Ryder raise awareness and funds - with consent, they could feature in our marketing materials, on our website and social media channels and/or in the media.
If you would be willing to speak to a member of our team about your experiences or if you would like to have an informal chat about what is involved, please do get in touch. We will never use these stories without asking for permission first - by sharing your experiences, you could be encouraging others to seek much-needed support.
If you would like to find out more, email the Online Community team on online.community@sueryder.org.
Thanks so much - take care,
Megan
