How im i supposed to live with this pain?

how I’m supposed to live with this???!I’ve been staying in bed for days. I barely want to get up. I just lie here and cry and stare at the ceiling, thinking about him. Everything hurts in a way I can’t even explain. It’s completely unbelievable that he’s gone. I keep expecting him to somehow be here. I don’t even want anything complicated. I just want to hug my son again. I want to hear his voice. I want one more moment with him. I’d give anything for that…People keep telling me that time will help, but right now time just feels like more time without him. I miss him every second. I’m exhausted from hurting, and I don’t know what I’m supposed to do with all of this grief.:disappointed_face::disappointed_face::disappointed_face:I just want my son back.

I hear you :broken_heart:. Time will not help or heal us. I’m so sorry you are here too. I lost my eldest son to a sudden cardiac arrest, like you I cannot believe it. He was 30.

I’m 2 years on but there’s not a moment I am not thinking of him. He is always in my head and heart & I am constantly trying to work out how I can swap with him! Sounds crazy but you’ll get it.

Sending you love, do what is right for you, stay in bed, you have to survive this pain so do what you can xx

I’m so sorry for your loss.

I lost my partner Theresa in March, we were together for 35years and what you are going through is the exact same that most of all ,if not all of us are going through.

It is terrible to lose a partner, husband, or wife but losing a child must be harder .

There will be some people on here who went through your terrible experience of losing a child and will be on here to share your grief.
Keep on this site as people will try and help you. Take care

Hi I’m new to all this and did not think I’d be on here but I too lost my beautiful ellie a few weeks ago suddenly and tragically when she was out with her twin sister I’m waking each day numb and still wanting to believe this isn’t happening .she is only 20 years old and had so many plans after getting her chef diploma , I’m finding it hard to function and no interest in doing anything I’ve cried plenty of tears but I feel It will take along time to come to terms as I really don’t want to believe it’s true and telling myself it’s a bad nightmare I’m not sure sharing or talking to other people will help but I’m here trying and praying I get some way to cope as loosening her is the most unbearable pain I’ve ever felt and not sure parents are made for this as like others i feel I should of gone before her she had so much more to live for
