People on at me saying you should be getting over things now it is a year since I lost my mum and my whole life I never knew any difffent than living with her for 38 years

I had that sort of insensitive comment from people who don’t know what it feels like.
It is very hurtful.
I am afraid I replied that they would know if they were in your shoes which they never will be because everyone is different.
I knew someone who wanted to move on after his wife had only been dead six months. But because he had known her illness was terminal then some of it had been processed before. But he couldn’t wait to replace her which I thought was soon so did his children but it is difficult when families feel upset at different rates.
I don’t know why people think they know it all and their opinions only count when it is after all just their opinion.
