You are right. Our being is enough reason, but it’s so hard to remember that some weeks.

Welcome to this group of wonderful people. I’m sorry your here but glad you found this site. Have you searched old posts? That’s what I did when I first joined, there are some very knowledgeable people who share how they have coped.
My husband and I did everything together and I am completely lost without him. I do know that I now have to find some kind of new life for myself and I’m trying. Do you use Facebook? I know a lot of people don’t. I found a local group of women that have set up a social group, meeting for lunch or walks or classes and I’ve booked my first lunch with them in a few weeks time. I have read the group chat a few times and they seem a lovely bunch. I’m going to meet one of them for coffee first as we live in the same village.
I hope together we can all help each other. We all have down times of course but it’s lovely when you read that someone here has had a good day.

Night everyone, I had a good day seeing my work friends. Am feeling pretty anxious tonight though. Am meeting with my partners children on Sunday, we will be scattering Graham’s ashes, I feel really sad about doing it, people keep saying it’ll be a celebration of his life but I just can’t get my head around it at all. I’m finding life on my own really challenging. I’m trying to do ‘normal’ things, if you can call it that, but, it really is hard. I feel very tearful 
. We are visiting ‘our place’, a seaside town, I haven’t been back there since I lost my lovely partner.
