well day ok ,called sons,then granddaughters, shopping another date if I want it,so the new mustache ok, but its much to early to think about that, going bed soon to try to have a nap,mum had a flat in Alicante I wish I had kept it when she died, but was married with kids,I’ve had worse Saturdays now my phone needs a new battery, just sitting in garden trying to get a tan,hope everyone is ok but I don’t suppose they are which is awful,

You need to buy a nice new smart phone and I am sure your sons and granddaughter can help you with it they are good I have one and have never looked back and even paul as bad as he was with technology he had one you dont have to pay a fortune for one I know I did but that’s me goband get one grandad you need it

found sitting in the garden on own upsetting, mind starts thinking of all the good times had there with kids grandkids,friends etc, everyone in the swimming pool, now its just a empty big space so came in,wont be doing that on own, but that’s how I always said I wanted to go, just drift off one spring day ,not in a hospital or nursing home the kids know I don’t want that, one of my fav old songs,I’ll be seeing you in apple blossom time that’s when I’d like to go but what year who knows, getting melencoly now, so I think I’ll try get a bit of sleep, funny how things play on your mind after the death of a loved one, at Xmas this was unheard of then a week later ,cardiac arrest and died,what a start to the new year,

Hope you’ve had a good day here in Wales, I went for a drive around earlier, I ended up around where you are, went around the peninsula & through Nefyn, circling back around back to Porthmadog. If I’d known where I was going to go we could have perhaps arranged to meet for a coffee or something. Back at my caravan now having a salad to eat tonight with pork pie. Your lamb sounds delicious, haven’t had lamb for awhile, may have to get some next time I shop. Have a good evening.

Very silly question… but how are you, and how are you coping?
I’m thinking of you, as you mark 15 months since losing your beloved soulmate, even though time has stood still for us, it must feel like it was just yesterday, and a lifetime ago, all at the same time.
I will never get my head around it all.
I haven’t posted for quite some time… mainly because of the long hours I work, and also, despite the fact that it’s been 10½ months for me, nothing has changed, and if anything, I very much feel that things are really getting worse for me.
I’ve had so many setbacks to contend with, it’s unbelievable.
But, I’m still here, and still trying, albeit just surviving each lonely day and not living the fairytale life that I once had, with the love of my life.
I’m struggling… but sadly that’s my reality now, especially with having extremely little support, it makes it that much harder.
It’s just a case of somehow making it through each day, but my heart, happiness and future were taken along with my lovely Michael, back on that horrendous day in June, while the sun was shining.
How are you managing to get through the days?
I hope you’re ok, and wish you some kind of peace.

For me on this crap path. I have bad wave days, which are a struggle, then I have days were there is the pain and loneliness, but you manage it better. We all have to try and find the new you. I know it’s hard, I still haven’t found that person yet. I got told I need to give myself 5 years, then other people think you are ok after a year ?
It’s hard there is no right or wrong in grief, it’s just what’s best for you. You have come this far so you are stronger then you think. I got mad with Sue I don’t know why a few weeks ago and shouted at her and told her I’m doing my best, before breaking down. All you can do is try and find what’s best for you, believe me I know it’s hard. For me the second year is hard, as I think the shock has gone and your left with reality. We just have to try and do stuff, no matter how hard it is. I volunteer one day a week, go to a bereavement coffee morning. After shopping I make myself go for a coffee, sat there on my own,people watching. Seeing couples of all ages.
Please just look after yourself, I hope you are eating better now.
