Today I was listening to Pick of the Week on radio 4 and they played Kirsty MacColls version of the Kinks song Thank you for the Days which brought on tears but did make me think how lucky I’ve been to have such wonderful memories. Much repeated but still true ‘ Grief is the price we’re pay for love’.
