I am sad about my dog and hamster

My dog went to the vet and he was happy and fine before going and then they decided they wanted to give him anesthetic to put him to sleep even though he was 13 to check an ultrasound they found a tumor but when he woke up they had burst it and not said anything so when he came home he was so different than when he came in all happy and normal fine and he couldn’t walk when he came out he was shaking and they said he would snap out of it but he just deteriorated He was shaking so much and his breathing got fast and then he pee and poo on himself he tried to go to the garden but just fell and then he had a seizure and then his breathing slowed and he passed away and blood came out of his private area so I’m still struggling with the loss of it all that happened when he was on the floor and the vet didn’t care they just wanted to use my dogs case for the student vet to use for her work and I miss him because I don’t have anyone to cuddle or be loving with like he was so affectionate and I don’t have any friends so I’m just missing a connection and I miss him

Also I miss my hamster haribo he was the hamster nobody wanted, I wasn’t going to get a Russian dwarf hamster like he was but he was left in the adoption side and I was told nobody wanted him and his siblings all got homes and he was agressive. He was over a year old when I got him and he was just used to be passed around the children at pets at home so I adopted him and from the first time I held him he fell right asleep on me.

he was never agressive not even once he never bit and I always had him on my pillow to sleep against my cheek while I watched things on my phone. I shared my food with him and I held him every single day. He fell asleep on my chest all the time and I’d give him kisses. He was excited to see me I’d say his name he’d run out to see me. I’d put my blanket a little under him while he was on my pillow and he’d just sleep there and then when I was going to sleep I put him back and then held him again in the morning. He was the most affectionate hamster ever and it’s hard to explain because people think hamsters can’t be affectionate but he was one in a million. And when he got older he lived 2 extra years after I got him but he got old he lost a lot of his fur he became blind in one eye and had a heart murmur and respiratory infection. So I miss him so much because he was always with me and I included him in everything because he wasn’t just a hamster to me he was a little life I really cared for

Hi Charlottemcfly, im so sorry to hear about your poor dog passing..and your hamster as well. Our pets are like family they mean the world to us. They are affectionate, great company, they’re always there when we need them..i lost my cat Nellie a few years ago, and I have never wanted another cat, it was too painful to lose her…take care of yourself, maybe someday you can get another pet to Love…
