I had some issues with the Coroner and the police when my daughter died. After a while I stopped phoning them and did it by email. That way you have your requests in writing and also their replies to you in a written record. If they did phone I asked them to confirm any conversation in an email. If they don’t follow through with a confirmation I sent them an email saying that I’m confirming the conversation and detailed what they had said. That way there’s no confusion about who said what when. It’s also less stressful than hanging on the phone and you’ve got a record of conversations and who said what. Hope it’s a little bit of help.
