I cant cope anymore. My partner died on 24.03.2016 and my life has been hell since. I am broke because it left me too ill to work, I am being evicted from the flat I rent because my savings ran out in February so I could not afford it anymore and I cant face life on the streets.
My dear I feel so sad for you. I wish I could help, but I don’t know how. Have you contacted your doctors team to find support with your mental health
I just can’t imagine what you’re going through. I am fortunate in that I have fantastic family support and whilst I don’t have much in the way of spare money I can afford to keep a roof over my head
Thank you for your kindness. My GP does not care what happens to me. I have told them but they are just not interested
@Broken123 - my dear friend - I am so sorry life is so hard. Your friends here are with you. Could you contact charities that work to support people facing eviction? Shelter, Crisis and others are good and there may be ones local to where you are, too. A local Vicar may be able to help, too.
I have tried Shelter. All they did was tell me to contact the council which I had already done.
You can get some benefits I am sure . Universal credit should be enough for you to live in a flat or apply for a council one . One of my friends gets a good amount from them and lives i a council home
Hello - maybe try your local MP’s office and keep on at the Council for help. I am so sorry this is so hard for you x
Well contact the council AND your MP … somebody will be able to help you ! God bless xxx
