I got told my dad had months left, 5 months later he passed away i was with him and i held his hand, it was still a shock and i don’t think i will ever get over the heartbreak,

After losing my mum ten years ago and now my dad, I know I’ll always be broken.
This is super tough. I’m so sorry you have lost both your parents. I hope you have people in your life you can turn to. I really found “my people” when dad passed. I kept that circle small and it helped me. Xx
I lost my mum 4months after my dad, i haven’t cryed for my mum like i did my dad, yes daddy’s girl, my conusler told me it was because i was closer to my dad but didn’t mean i loved my mum any less, i still go to ring my dad in the evening, it’s strange someone else living in my mum’s house, parents were divorced, my husband has been my rock, it’s the people who were my friends that i thought would be there for me aren’t, so I have some new friends now and yes it includes my new sue Ryder friends
