My name is Mike and I lost my son in January this year aged 3 and a half, and I am always struggling with this but Christmas is coming up and than the anniversary, I don’t now what to do and how I will get through this, I feel so alone

Hello @Mikeb1, I am so sorry for the heartbreaking loss of your son. You are not alone - many of our members have experienced the loss of a child and will understand some of what you are going through.
The first Christmas after the death of our loved one can be particularly difficult. We have a page on Coping with grief at Christmas which you might find helpful to read right now. Please do think about getting some extra support for yourself, @Mikeb1. You may want to get in touch with one of the these organisations:
- The Compassionate Friends support anyone who has lost a child of any age. Their website is at https://www.tcf.org.uk/ and they also have a helpline which you can call on 0345 123 2304
- The Child Bereavement Trust also support parents who have lost a child of any age.
