I paid him a visit with his son he never got a chance to meet, he drowned in this river and his body was never recovered, i was 3months pregnant by then ,he had gone out with his friends who refused to tell us the truth about the incident, their statements keep changing, now they don’t want to talk about it completely.

Hello Peace02. I’m so sorry you lost your husband in such terrible circumstances. It must have been heartbreaking to take your son there. It looks so beautiful but for you it has now become an unbearable place. I can’t imagine how you feel about the way his friends are so evasive. I really hope you find answers soon. Take care

I CRIED OUT LOUD, i COULDN’T HOLD IT. cried like for 45 minutes then came to my senses my boy was scared & crying. (that’s alot of trauma for a 2yr old)
The river runs so fast making very loud noise to me it sounds like a cry, HE IS THERE CRYING, HE DIDN’T GET JUSTICE,NOBODY KNOWS WHAT REALLY HAPPENED. I didn’t get a chance to see him for the last time, As for me ,I believe his so called friends are behind everything,i believe they wanted his car,he had just bought a subaru xv 2015 for uber business, the car disappeared. His friends say that, when he slipped & fell into the river they got scare and ran away leaving the car behind,they don’t know what happened to the car or the person who took it but this statement keeps on changing.it has like 100 versions.

It looks frighteningly fast, that river. It must be so hard to not have answers. So sorry.

Hi @LucyJack ,this place is called Itanda falls, ,water runs very fast making a very horrifying loud noise, even if you scream, no one can hear you, the place looks pure death, i was there crying on top of my lungs but i couldn’t even hear myself or my son b,se he got terrified & cried too.
There is a young army man age 30 who drowned today at noon,his fellow army force recovered his body,when the news reached his wife, she didn’t wait to atleast see her love for the last time, she locked their twins in the house ,left keys on the porch & disappeared, some people are claiming that they saw her crying & boarding a bus that travels north, to northern regions of uganda. , she is 27yrs, ayoung widow, she has run away from the dark side of this community & it’s Elders ,even her own family can’t associate with her, she is entirely on her own, the church can’t help,No one wants to fight a belief that has been a round for centuries they say.

I am so sorry @Peace02 . I read all of your posts I never realised that this was happening in Uganda regarding young widows. I keep thinking of the child you were talking about with no clothes, and now these poor twins. And the mother losing her husband and leaving those twins must be heartbroken.
I just looked up Itanda Falls, it is advertised as a place to visit and there was a video of some one in the water . It looks terrifying

Yes there’re expert swimmers who do those adverts for safaris & tourism sector but there’s a dark apart, they don’t show. Because it will affect tourism. whites & Chinese visit that place alot even the day i was crying there were there, i moved away not to create negative energy for them, and ruin their moments. I cried from another distance.
we have lost very many people in that place,there’s even a sign that says POINT OF NO RETURN, Last month they announced an ingneer drowned,today was Uganda people’s defense force (updf) army guy.
