Today I had a dream about my late husband, first time in 2yrs, he came to me carrying a ripe jackfruit and said that it’s peaceful & quite where he is & had come to take me with him ,we started walking together & I heard our son crying behind us in a distance, I told him that we should take our child with us and i woke up, only to find my son sitting on bed crying & I had fallen off the bed.

I am hoping for a dream, a visit or a sign. Something. Do you think dreams of the sort you had are real visitations or just your mind trying to adjust to the grief?
Years ago, 34 exactly, my best friend passed at the early age of 35. I a very real dream of her. I think it was about 2 years after she passed too. In my dream, we were outside at a train station. She was telling me to “hurry up” we needed to board a train as it was leaving. We were running and running. Before I could get onboard, we stopped at a desk with a Conductor in full uniform. The Conductor needed to stamp my ticket. I handed the ticket to him and he said “do you understand what this means if you get on this train?” “I said yes” and he said “you won’t be around to raise your children”. My kids were very young at the time. I started to cry. I told my friend there’s no way I can leave my children. She begged me to go with her. I told her I loved her and she waved goodbye from the train. The dream was so real, so vivid. Was it just my brain trying to finally accept help me accept my friends death as a reality?
