I’ve always believed in an afterlife, the death of our physical body is not the end. Dad proved this to me one night last week. I was lying in bed reading a book that I’d highly recommend to anyone with similar beliefs, especially if you are greiving (Spirits beside us - Chris Lippincott) I was startled by what sounded like a coin being dropped into an empty glass on my shelf, but I later worked out it was the plastic, reusable straw clattering against the glass) it was so loud I almost jumped out of bed. I instantly knew it was Dad getting my attention, so I spoke to him, thanked him for visiting, told him I love and miss him, and I hope he’s at peace. I also apologised for almost sh*tting myself I decided to turn off the lights and take some photo’s. Ive shown this to numerous family members who all agree that it looks like Dad in his younger years. Dads visit has brought me peace, and helped me to accept the way things are now. I know he is still here, and I’ll see him again when it’s my turn to transition into the next life
