Does anyone else look at their childhood friends, family members, former classmates living a normal life with their spouses & feel buried deep in grief ?
This hurts I feeling like removing my heart and throwing it away so that I don’t feel a thing.

It is said; it hurts just as much as it’s worth. Your heart speaks of your loss, reinforces your Love. Your heart is real and authentic. Love is all we truly have. It is universal and connects us. Please don’t deny your heart
Yes I look at couples much older than me and they still have each other. I know of a couple in their 90’s that still have each other and I wonder why my husband had to get cancer.
I feel very much the same. I feel why did cancer have to take my wife when there are much older people walking about holding hands. It is very painful.
I think the love we have w/ our partners is a real” tangible” thing that connects us to them.
Yes, I do feel this too.
