I’m not really sure how to begin this. But I just lost my mother last week. She had an overdose. The funeral was a few days ago and I still don’t know how to feel. My girlfriend keeps catching me staring into the distance. I was just about to start college. She was so excited for me. She wasn’t always the best, but she tried her best. And I didn’t realize how much that meant to me until it was all gone. More than anything I think I’m just upset with myself. How things went between us. The fighting. I miss those moments when we watched shows and talked about work. I think I just miss her.
So sorry T loosing your mum is devastating, your mum must have been so proud you were going to start collage.go to collage and make her proud when you feel you can .i lost my wife at Christmas after 63 years of marrige and the pain I know is unbearable keep reaching out on this site there are lots of lovely people who will help you with your terrible loss.doing her best is all you could ask of your special mum. Wishing you peace and comfort x x Dave
Thanks, Dave. It’s definitely on my mind. I can’t really get it out of my mind. Making her proud and in my own way, showing her all those things we used to talk about. Even if the thought still makes me sad, that she’ll never see me with my degree or in my career field. I know she would’ve been happy no matter what. I’m so very sorry that you lost your wife, I cannot even begin to imagine what that feels like. I know wounds like that never truly close, but I hope your days are easier since the loss. Wishing you joy and happiness, Olivia.
Olivia stop doubting yourself your mum was proud of you a mothers love for her children is unconditional for eternity.she will be with you and proud when you get your degree.all families have fall outs it’s part of life.no ones fault just the way things are, remember we are all different and see things differently but it’s not a reflection of our love for each other.when you are ready go out and get your degree and make your mum even prouder of her daughter.hope you can get forward in your grief Olivia don’t punish yourself ,you have all your memories of your mum for ever.you go girl go x x Dave
