I miss my wife very much. Sometimes I just want to hear her coming through the front door.

@Andy45 Sorry for your loss. I lost my wife unexpectedly just over 10 weeks ago and struggle to accept she has gone. Her makeup is still in the bathroom where she left it. When I come home from work I still think she is going to be there. Sometimes I imagine I can still see her. The sadness at times is overwhelming.

Andy45 so very for your loss. It’s 11 weeks since my partner passed away suddenly. I still find it difficult to believe what happened. I haven’t moved any of his things as it feels disrespectful - too final.
This is a very supportive site. You can say how you are feeling and no one judges. I completely understand your heartbreak and I still expect him to come back through the front door. If only😔

Oh Andy it is so hard in the beginning, you have done the right thing joining this group, we all support each other and understand this dreadful hell we are going through. You need to let your grief out and cry those healing tears. Read the things written on here and it will help you, write to us all whenever you need to someone will answer you and even if we have no advice to give you will know that you are not alone, you are not going mad feeling how you do,so many of us have been through or are going through what you are going through and feeling. It is all a normal way to be…and it will pass, it will change and you will be able to build your life around your grief. X
