There is an organisation that can help and support you called Road Peace http:/www.roadpeace.org/support. They offer support to families whose loved one has been bereaved in a car crash.

The Helpline number is 0845 4500 355. You can also contact them by email on their website. They are on social media also (Facebook and Twitter).

The following organisations also offer support and help.

The Compassionate Friends https://www.tcf.org.uk

Please take care of yourself and continue to come here for support.

Donnajosh yes please keep talking . I am glad you found this site I find it very helpful . My son did not die in a car accident but it was a sudden death. If you search “car accident” in search top right of page you will find many others who have lost sons, husbands, friends in car accidents who may be able to support you better. If you search “loss of son you “will find many others who have lost sons
Please keep reading and posting when you are ready, we are all struggling and trying to support each other . I feel You can say exactly how you feel on here without judgement . I think I am going mad sometimes, then turn to this site and find so many others have the same feelings and it’s all part of the grieving process.
Hope you have supportive family and friends around you , I find it easier sometimes to talk on here tho as I know others on here really get it . Even tho friends and family want to help I don’t think they can really understand unless it has happened to them and we don’t always want to worry them.
Take care, be kind to yourself. Jss x
