Sorry about the rant. My late husband paid into an insurance policy for 30 years. It is now 15 months since I informed them and sent a copy of the death certificate, they still haven’t paid out. Why is life so difficult when it is bad enough going through grief.

No need to apologise. I could contact the Company by letter (recorded delivery) and by email with your complaint. This way you have an audit trail. It may be worth contacting your local Citizens Advice Bureau for advice if you have no response after a month.
