Living in the moment

I think living in the present moment is the best way to handle a life post loss.

It is hard to do. The past and my troubles continually pull me down mentally.
I know getting up and out, exercise, talking to people, socializing, being involved in other things, is the only antidote. For support to others, I was very lethargic and uninvolved in the community after most of my family and friends died. But having gotten myself out and about has been life-saving.

And seeking counseling. I still seek counseling.
When I sit in front of the computer too much the sad thoughts come though I will say we cannot constantly be running from our thoughts. Some people have better lives and thus better thoughts.

Just wanted to help those still sad that just stepping outside into sunshine can help a lot. Also, the world circumstances offer little for the average person and one must take that into account as well. I see the world in a mess and that can affect our feelings for the future.
