Am a full-time carer in my mid-40s navigating a deep bereavement following the loss of my parent in 2023. Veggie. Looking for a quiet, supportive 1:1 space to just listen, care, and help me navigate this current chapter.
Hi R care I am sorry you are finding it difficult to navigate the bereavement of your parent. My wife had a lot of issues after the death of her mother. We spent a long time working though her bereavement she tried a couple of therapists and found one that helped her. I think it’s often a case of talking through your feelings as much as possible
Wishing you all the best

Hi Tom, thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your wife’s experience. It really helps to know others understand how difficult it is to navigate daily life after losing a parent. I really appreciate you taking the time to reach out and wish me well. Take care
Hi R Care my wife died on Christmas day after two years of cancer treatments and her last breath was used to call her mum. She died in my arms but I hope she was welcomed into her mother’s.
I hope you find some solace here where everyone understands the pain of a bereavement.
Wishing you all the best
Tom
