Loosing a parent

I lost my mom on the 11/08/2024 and I have so much grief anxiety and I’m really struggling to get out of bed. I have 3 children and I’m expecting my 4th. How do you cope day to day and find the power to get out of bed every morning. I feel so lost without her. She was my best friend and the person I turned to for everything. I’m in desperate need of advice and ways to get myself motivated

I’m part of the Online Community team and I can see that you are new to the community - I’d like to thank you for bravely starting this thread and sharing how you are feeling. I’m so sorry to hear about your mom. Most community members have sadly experienced the death of a loved one and so will understand some of what you are going through.

I’m sure someone will be along to offer their support. In the meantime, you may wish to look at these Sue Ryder resources which might be helpful.

I really hope you find the community helpful and a good source of support and I also hope you feel you can access more support should you need it.

Hi I am sorry for your loss, you have so much to cope with, its so hard for you but do what you have to and then rest, its so raw for you and it takes time to compute. Try and be kind to yourself.
