I lost my wonderful Grandad last November, 2 days after my birthday. It was the first time I had ever watched a member of family pass away and it still haunts me today. We were so close, he was my best friend. Some days are easier than others but lately I’ve been wanting to talk to him more than ever.
Hi Sam, I never knew three of my grandparents, who lived and died in foreign countries, I only knew my mum’s mum who visited the UK a few times, and loved her a lot. However, as she only visited a few times, we were not as close like you and your granddad were. I did however lose my dad, who was my best friend, and it is very very difficult when that happens. Do you have family and friends who you have been able to talk to about your granddad?
