Hiya @Becca4
Im so sorry for the loss of your mum, I lost my mam in January this year, so a bit before you. I was and still am devastated at the loss, but I have found that the lows get gradually less intense and better days come more often.
One of the things that helped me was researching everything I could find out about grief and reading self help books, I think that way you don’t quite feel as alone. Also this site has been a great help, looking back I really don’t know how I would of coped without it. Keep posting and reading other people’s messages and slowly but surely things will get easier. I was convinced I’d never get over the death of my mam, best friend and confidant but I had to tell myself it was something no-one can ever avoid, so sad as it is.
Wishing you well
Cheryl
