Losing a grown up child

Yes broken is the right word .have my other family but sometime i think they just dont get it thathloe in you heart that can’t be fielded .keep safe and well

very sorry you lost your son. I wont say it gets better over time but I can say it gets a little easier to get through life. You may feel alot of people just dont care and dont have anything to say to be helpful. Its not that they dont care, its that they just dont know what to say. They do care though, and alot of people who love you are thinking of you and praying for strength and healing for you. For me its been 20 years. My son would be 34 now. Although he was in his teens when he left us, he appears as a big man in some dreams. Sometimes it feels like it was 100 yrs ago and sometimes like it was yesterday. A song you hear or other noise, a scene, a scent, place or event brings those memories right back. I know he would want me to move along with life and be happy. its hard do but doable. I hope you find some support on here. Sue is such an amazing person to start this group. God bless you. kel
