My 8 year old nephew passed away 2 weeks ago…
I’m struggling to make sence of this.
He was poorly he was born with half a heart and unfortunately he didn’t make it through his 5th open heart surgery. I just understand why the world is so cruel.
How do you cope with never hearing there voice again or he will never play with his toys or see his school friends. 
His funeral is in a couple of weeks and I’m so scared of going. I have never had to attend a child’s funeral before. I’m a new mum to a 9 week old and it’s just breaking my heart to understand what my sister in law is going through.

I’m part of the Online Community team and I can see that you are new to the community - I’d like to thank you for bravely starting this thread and sharing how you are feeling heartbroken and scared of managing the funeral. I’m so sorry to hear about your nephew. Most community members have sadly experienced the death of a loved one and so will understand some of what you are going through.
