Losing grandson

Hello. We lost our two year old grandson, Arthur, suddenly in January this year. The hardest thing ever to go through. I feel lost without him in our lives. I hurt for my daughter and her partner. He was their only child. We have 3 other grandchildren. The grief is overwhelming. The slightest memory makes me cry. We saw him a lot during his short life. Our home was like his second home. So many reminders of him every day. Life is not the same without him. We wont find out the cause of death (if there is one) for another few months. There may also be an inquiry if the Coroner feels the need for one. Such a long time to get closure. Im so heartbroken :broken_heart:

I am soo sorry for your loss. It’s so hard when you lose someone. I lost my daughter aged 27. Even though he was 2 I’m sure he knew he was loved. I can imagine him laughing and u playing with him. All we have is memories now and they r soo precious. Grief is soo hard and this is the hardest thing u will probably have gone through. Allow urself to be there for ur daughter if she lets you. U r all hurting.
