Mum was 83,took her to GP for memory issues a while ago-referred to Memory Clinic.
Started slurring, had headaches, took her back to GP,said it was not a stroke and to do with the memory issues.
Mum was a proud, tough, caring person who loves her family.
Saw her on the Sunday and had her head in her hands and said she felt muzzy.
Took her to ED,2 hours later scan showed metastatic brain tumour.
Primary in lungs,liver and neck
Doctors never said it could erupt, talked about package of care at home.
Had a brain bleed on the Wednesday night, they didnt call me just rang as I was.walking in the door at 8am.
Now unresponsive-her heart didnt give up until the Monday.
I promised I would take her home…
Never said goodbye properly
