Losing my father

I lost my father suddenly on the 13th of March 2025

It was very unexpected and I can’t believe he’s actually gone.

I saw him every single day and we were so close
He was my littlest girls best friend and she’s always asking for her Ga Ga.

I’m really struggling to cope, I’ve never felt this amount of grief on my life before

Hi Luna_Rose88

I’m really sorry about the loss of your dad. It’s not surprising you feel blindsided by it given how close you were and the fact it was so unexpected.

My dad died in March too, 2 months after diagnosis. The grief and pain is unbelievable, I’m struggling to cope too, feeling overwhelmed most days.

My heartfelt condolences. Let yourself have these emotions and be kind to yourself, the loss is absolutely huge. Bless your little girl, she loved him so much. It is just so painful.
