Hello @Jacqui49 ,

I’m Seaneen and I can see that you’re new to the community. I hope you find it to be a support to you, but I am so sorry for the loss of your son that brings you here.

We have many members who have sadly lost a child - hopefully someone will be along soon to offer their support. In the meantime, I wanted to share these resources with you that you might find helpful.

  • The Compassionate Friends support families who have lost a child of any age. You can call them on 0345 123 2304. They offer in-person support which you might want to explore.

Sue Ryder also has some resources which can help you cope with grief.

There is a long-running and supportive thread for parents which you might want to have a read of - it’s called, Loss of our son aged 27 and you can go to it by clicking the link.

Thank you again for sharing – please keep reaching out and know that you are not alone.
